Guilty pleasure: Cupcake Heights

                                         Guilty Pleasure...

Let’s face it, everybody’s got to indulge in a little guilty pleasure from time to time. We are all human after all!  I mean, I’m human for crying out loud right! One of my favorite things to snack out on, when misbehaving... as I'm assuming you've guessed! Cupcakes! Just looking at the pictures of these absolutely gorgeous cupcakes makes me want to forget my diet regimen and over indulge myself. With the perfect ratio of cupcake to frosting, could it really be such a terrible thing to over indulge myself with? Na! The long lasting and rich aroma of the cupcakes, their perfect texture and not to mention all the love and care put into them makes them Oh-so easy to fall for! And you better believe I'm falling! Lost somewhere in between the Cinnamon-Apple and sultana, Chocolate, Chocolate Brownie Cupcakes with Chocolate and Coconut Frosting and the Banana and pecan Cupcakes, I am left literally dancing with gluttony! They bake Cupcakes that come from the heart. So, forget the diets and indulge your taste buds and tummies in these Cupcakes are defiantly well worth it!

Be Mine

                                     Happy Valentines Day!!

                                                                                                               ~ S

When you mention Valentines day to most of us, the first thing that pops into mind are those massive red heart shaped boxes filled with chocolates that you so crave but then after you eat you regret, long stemmed red roses that will wilt and ruin the bottom of your nice vase, a cheap teddy bear that sings the words "I Love You" or "Be Mine" making you smile and love at first but loath by the end of the week, candle lite dinners and cute game of footsie and a charming diamond necklace all leading into an evening of lust... Or so goes the Valentines day stereotype is at least!

Guys hate this holiday in particular not because cupids arch nemesis shot them with a holiday antidote to cupids love arrows I can assure you! But rather because its another day girls treat just like their birthday and worse! So lets try removing the pressure to conform and make today just as much about them! Go out of your way to make his day that much easier, I love Valentine’s Day because its  just another excuse to surprise people and make them feel loved!

The color scheme of this romantic holiday makes for the perfect bouquet of gorgeous flowers (Guy tip: While Red Roses are B.e.a.u.t.i.f.u.l, they are expected. I would suggest surprising your special someone with a bouquet of her favorite flowers). Beautiful desserts, candle lit dinners and the most elegant date night outfits.  So, for those of you heading out tonight let your seductive  side shine through. Mixing vibrant pinks with bold reds is a surefire way to make a statement, or the more girlie side come out to play and try combining pale shades of pink with crisp whites to create a whimsically amorous feel!

Today is about making people feel special and loved! If you don't have time, make it! Take a few minutes out of your busy day to put a smile on their face.  Run a hot bath, cook a simple dinner or even order take out chinese food and put in their favorite movie. Make today memorable!
